Cannot be changed more than once every 30 days

Important Considerations

URL Change: Your profile URL will change from slash.name/oldname to slash.name/newname

Existing Links: Any links to your old profile URL will no longer work

Social Sharing: Update any social media profiles or websites that link to your Slash profile

Email Notifications: You'll receive an email confirmation when your username is changed

If Your Desired Username is Taken

If the username you want is already taken, you can:

Try a variation of your desired username

Add numbers or underscores (e.g., john_doe, john123)

Request the username if you have a legitimate claim to it

Note: Username changes are permanent and cannot be undone. Make sure you're certain before changing your username.
