Slash Affiliate Program

What is the Slash Affiliate Program?

The Slash Affiliate Program lets you earn commission when you refer creators to Slash. You get 100% of their first month's subscription, then 10% recurring commission for as long as they stay subscribed. Payouts are sent monthly.

Program guidelines

Share Slash in an authentic way—link sharing, recommendations, and word-of-mouth. Our program is built for organic promotion.

Do: Share your referral link on your profile, in content, or in direct messages. Recommend Slash when it fits naturally.

Don't: Use paid ads (e.g. paid social, search, or display) to drive signups. If we detect paid promotion tied to your affiliate link, we may pause or disable commissions on your account.

Stay within these guidelines so we can keep the program fair and sustainable for everyone.

How to share your referral link

You can share your referral link in two ways:

Option 1: Add it to your profile

Go to Earn in your dashboard.

Open the Referrals or Affiliate section.

Copy your unique referral link or add an Affiliate Link block to your profile.

Anyone who signs up through that link is tracked as your referral.

Option 2: Copy and share directly

Log in and go to the Earn tab.

Find your referral link (usually in the Referrals or Affiliate area).

Click Copy and share it in messages, bios, or content.

Signups that use your link are automatically attributed to you.

Heads up
If you change your username, your referral link will change too. Update any place you've shared it so you keep earning. Existing referrals are unaffected.

Commission breakdown

You earn 100% of the referral's first month (their first payment after any free trial), then 10% of their subscription revenue every month after, for as long as they stay subscribed.

Commission applies to both monthly and annual plans:

First month: 100% of the subscription amount (e.g. $6 Standard, $9 Plus, $15 Pro for that month).

Ongoing: 10% of each renewal (monthly or annual) for the life of the subscription.

Example: You refer someone who stays on Standard ($6/mo). You get $6 for their first paid month, then $0.60 per month thereafter. If they upgrade or switch plans, your 10% is based on their current plan.

Tracking and payouts

You can see your referral activity and earnings in the Earn section of your dashboard.

Commission starts when the referral's subscription becomes active (e.g. after their free trial ends and they're charged).

Payouts are processed monthly, typically within a few business days after the end of the month or after the referral's renewal.

Heads up
You must have an active Slash account to receive affiliate payouts. If you cancel, you will no longer earn commission—including on existing referrals—until you reactivate.

How payouts work

Payouts are sent via the payment method you have connected in your Slash account (e.g. Stripe or other supported methods). Make sure your payout details are up to date in your settings so we can pay you on time.

Changing referrers

To keep the program fair:

We can only change or correct the referrer if the request comes from the referred user, not the affiliate.

Changes are not made if it has been more than 45 days since the original signup (e.g. after free trial + first paid period).

If you were referred by mistake or need to update attribution, the person who signed up should contact support with the details.

Questions? Contact support for help with the affiliate program.
