How to Update Your Email Address

Keeping your email address up to date ensures you receive important account notifications and can recover your account if needed.

Steps to Update Your Email

1. Go to your account settings
2. Navigate to the "Account" section
3. Find the "Email Address" field
4. Enter your new email address
5. Click "Save Changes"
6. Check your new email inbox for a verification link
7. Click the verification link to confirm your new email address

Email Verification

For security reasons, you must verify your new email address before it becomes active. The verification email:

• Is sent immediately after you update your email
• Contains a secure verification link
• Expires after 24 hours for security
• Must be clicked to complete the email change

Important Considerations

• Account Access: Your old email will remain active until you verify the new one
• Notifications: Account notifications will be sent to your new email once verified
• Password Reset: Password reset emails will be sent to your new email address
• Login: You can still log in with your old email until verification is complete

If You Don't Receive the Verification Email

• Check your spam or junk folder
• Make sure you entered the correct email address
• Wait a few minutes - emails can sometimes be delayed
• Request a new verification email from your account settings
